Today, I was browing CNN.com and I found this very interesting “Chinese man” picture appeared somewhere close to the front-page. Curiousity makes me click on the page and check out who this “chinese man” is. Surprisingly, he is a Malaysian who happened to born in the same town like me (Penang, Malaysia)! Again, I learn this the way. In the early of this month (July 2007), I tried to changed my affiliate links at handcellphone.com Free Phone Shop. The change is very vital for the growth of website as I need to track where the customers are coming from. Anyway, I spent a couple of hours to change the links, then I increased 2x of Adwords Advertising money, hopes that I can make more sales. Surprisingly, after I have done so, my sales drop like falling stones. My sales drop to barely 1/10 of my previous month which is very shocking for me. So, I went ahead and go check the links that I have changed and they looks ok for me as the affiliate links are reachable from my sites. After half month of checking, finally, I found out that I forgot to add “&” in the links that I had changed. So, that means, I had sent customers to my affiliated site without getting any credit for that.
